I love March! March Madness is one of the best sporting events ever. Just being able to watch college basketball all day is a lot of fun as it is, but then throw in underdogs beating favorites…I don’t know how to express the excitement. College players don’t get paid and you just know that they’re playing their hearts out for the love of the game. They’re not playing for any money.

I’m not saying that professional sports players don’t love the game they play, but it’s also their job. College players simply do it because they love to play. Yes, there may be a transition to a job in the professional ranks, but for right now, they’re doing it for the joy of the game.
